Teaching approach
A named theoretical foundation: psychoneuroimmunology
Psychoneuroimmunology is not a decorative argument. It decides what is taught, in what order, and what a practitioner must be able to explain to a client.
Hypnosis is taught here as a practice that mobilises attention, perception, imagination, communication, learning and individual resources. The approach is holistic: it integrates the interaction between psyche, nervous system and immune system.
This view belongs to a philosophical tradition that goes back to Spinoza, for whom the body influences the mind as much as the mind influences the body — an intuition that contemporary neuroscience has continued to confirm.
In practice this means in-person teaching, groups capped at sixteen, and supervised practice rather than theory listened to: every technique is tried, observed and corrected during the course.
